Recipe for Homemade Dishwasher Detergent

Kindom First Mom just posted this recipe for making your own powdered detergent:  I don't have a dishwasher (well I do - her name is Erin- but she doesn't take white powder to run - unless you count sugar), so I can't try it out myself. Food Saver Update & Brita Pitcher andShrek 4/Hostess deals expiring.

I just received my FoodSaver in the mail today (remember - the one I got for like $3!?). I haven't used it yet, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with vacuum seal bags and two vacuum containers! Wow- talk about a deal!! I will be keeping an eye out for more dealios like this one!

 

Also- If you printed the $5 Brita coupons, they expire tomorrow (well mine do at least). I ran to Walmart last night and picked up 2 of the $20 space saver pitchers, used the coupons and will send in the rebate to get one of the pitchers free! In the end they will have cost me $5 each -- and they each came with a filter which cost more than that alone. Sweet! (You have a little more time for the rebate).

 

 

 

Oh- The Shrek 4/Hostess Twinkies rebate deal has a purchase deadline for tomorrow - 1/14/2011 - so make sure you buy your Twinkies (or whatever Hostess goodies you pick).
